We have observed in the field, that some of our customers like to install the sunlight pump in parallel systems with 2x 250 Watt or even 2x 300 Watt. This extends the operating time at full current.
In the past weeks, we have observed cases where fuses have failed due to excessive heating.
This problem has been addressed: the sunlight pumps that will be supplied with your next order will have the fuse outside the housing inline with the positive supply cable and we will use a high quality 4F2430A fuse connector with 4mm2 600V/12A. This will allow to set up a parallel system again with 2x 250W or 2x 300W.
Consequence: For the sunlight pumps currently in use, please do not make any installations with more than 400 Watt.
