Dear *|FNAME|*,
ennos has new exciting stories to share!
This year, we invite you to join us on an inspiring journey: through our regular newsletter, you will meet the sunlight pump users and will learn how our innovative solar water pump changes their lives.
The sunlight pump is needed because most smallholder farmers still rely on low-productive agricultural practices and on rainfall to cultivate their few acres of land. Irrigation is one of the measures that could improve their yields and reduce the vulnerability to changing weather patterns.
This situation is changing!
Farmer Kenneth Mwangi, Kenya
Kenneth Mwangi is a young farmer from Murang’a County, Kenya. He purchased the sunlight pump in November 2017 and uses it for irrigation and to supply water to his house for consumption, cleaning and personal hygiene. Kenneth has reported an increase in the farming area from 0.5 acres to 1.5 acres which has significantly improved his income. He also appreciates the usability and quality of the pump - he has not experienced any technical difficulties.
Kenneth has become a brand ambassador for the sunlight pump in the region. He believes that it is a good solution for smallholder farmers in Kenya who are increasingly shifting towards clean and efficient irrigation.
