Unlike flat agricultural regions, Guatemala’s highlands require irrigation systems that can cope with significant elevation differences. Water sources such as rivers, springs, or reservoirs are frequently located far below cultivated land.
One of the key advantages of ENNOS solar pumps is their ability to pump water with a head of up to 60 meters. This high pumping capacity allows farmers to transport water from lower elevations to hillside fields without relying on diesel engines or grid electricity.

FUNDEA provides financing solutions that enable smallholder farmers to invest in solar irrigation through affordable credit. Instead of facing the high upfront cost of purchasing equipment, farmers can spread payments over time while immediately benefiting from improved crop productivity and higher incomes.
Guatique supports the commercialization and local distribution of ENNOS solar pumps, ensuring that farmers have access not only to the technology itself but also to local expertise, customer support, and after-sales service. This local presence helps build confidence in the technology and ensures that users receive the assistance they need throughout the lifetime of the product.
